Brothers of Rho Alpha Chapter,

I would like to wish you and your loved ones a Happy New Year filled with happiness, prosperity and joy in your life.  Let this new beginning for the chapter be filled with success and an increased footprint in our community.

We celebrate the founding of our great fraternity. Brothers Edgar A. Love, Oscar J. Cooper, and Frank Coleman with the advice of Professor Earnest E. Just knew the time was right on November 17, 1911, despite the opposition for the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity to be founded on the campus of Howard University.

 Without the vision of our Founders, without their determination, we would not be here today, 113 years later. I think we all can agree that anything that has been around for 113 years has truly gone through some trying times and has persevered through it all.

My hope is that we will start this New Year off with positivity.  Rho Alpha Chapter has made great strides and there is much more work to be done in this New Year.  The New Year is the new beginning of new projects and new growth for the chapter.  This can be accomplished with the dedication and determination of each member in the chapter.  The New Year also brings the brothers more opportunities to work together.

Brothers welcome new responsibilities as it will bring in more chances for the chapter to be successful and prosperous in this New Year.  I wish each of you a very happy and successful year ahead.  Enjoy our day my brothers, be safe and Long live Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
