Omega Community Outreach, Inc.(OCO)is a 501c3 foundation that focuses on efforts to retrieve grants and other monetary contributions to provide scholarships for graduating high school seniors and undergraduate students who attain high academic excellence in the Alabama area. In addition, your contributions aid other community-based projects within OCO such as: TIE'S Youth Mentoring Program. College Prep, Dr. Charles R. Drew Blood drive.
OCO also partners with other nonprofit organizations, such as American Red Cross and American Cancer Society, to provide additional services and programs to the Mobile community.
This program is a collaborative effort between Rho Alpha Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and external community entities to support a Fatherhood Initiative and Mentorship program that will touch the lives of young men from all of our communities.
This program is designed to focus on pertinent issues primarily facing young African -American males, including Self Esteem, Self-Image, Goal Setting, Health & Wellness, Personal, Social and Financial responsibility. It will also contribute to and enhance Academic growth and development, Family Unity and Conflict Resolution. These areas continue to be the most relevant issues facing our youth.
To instill the principles of manhood, critical thinking, personal and social Responsibilities into young African American males and provide them with the tools necessary for self respect and community leadership.
